RENTAL RATES: RENTAL RATES are available from our PROGRAMMERS and vary depending upon a number of conditions such as title, audience, and attendance. The RENTAL RATE is for one showing, in one location, on one date. If any admission fee is charged, then the rental fee is a minimum guarantee versus a percentage of your box office receipts whichever is larger. Box Office reports must be submitted to CRITERION PICTURES within 7 days after the playdate.

PAYMENT: It is understood that terms of sale are certified prepayment or valid purchase order from educational organizations or companies until such time as credit has been established. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Interest applies to all billings not paid within 30 days after playdate.

TRANSPORTATION: Transportation (both directions) and handling charges are to be paid by the customer and are in addition to the quoted rental rates.

RETURN OF PRINTS/TAPES: Films must be returned no later than the first business day following the scheduled showing prepaid by the customer. They are to be returned, insured, via the same courier unless instructed otherwise.

DAMAGE TO PRINTS: CRITERION has taken every care to ensure that the film you receive is in good condition. Each film is examined before and after every playdate. The customer is responsible for any damage and will be billed for the cost of the repair or replacement of the print.

CANCELLATION OF FILMS: A booking may be cancelled without obligation provided that Criterion Pictures receives notification in writing at least 10 business days prior to the ship date shown on your order confirmation or the entire invoice amount is due. Once a film has been shipped, the full rental and handling charges must be paid.

NO PREVIEWS: Our producers prohibit the preview of feature films. If the film has been run through a projector prior to return, the invoice rental and handling charges must be paid.

VIDEOCASSETTES: Many of the features in this catalogue are also available in video, DVD and laser disc formats. To legally screen a videocassette or laser disc of a feature in a non-theatrical setting, a PUBLIC PERFORMANCE LICENSE is required. Please ask your Criterion Programmer for further details.

COPYRIGHT POLICY: The films described in this catalogue are protected by copyright and all rights thereunder are reserved by the copyright owner. The features may not be transmitted by television, copied, recast, transformed or adapted in any manner, without the express written permission of the copyright owner.

CRITERION PICTURES’ OBLIGATION: The obligation of Criterion Pictures to furnish films is subject to the continued location approval of the producer and to the availability of prints and tapes. Subject to change without notice.
